Summer predator campaign underway
I have now put my pike rods away until the autumn and will be concentrating on fishing for eels during the months ahead. So far Paul Ikin and I have caught a handful of fish between us; the best one of 3 lbs. 9 oz. falling to ledgered lobworms. We're hoping for something much bigger but it's not easy fishing !

We have also had Bream over 6lb, Tench to 5lb plus, a small Pike and a huge Roach hybrid well over 3lb all on lobs. Last weekend a Grass Snake came mooching about as well.
